July 15; TYING UP LOOSE ENDS

Greetings from rainy Alaska. It sure rains a lot here. But, this is Alaska. That's the way it is. We are done hosting at Willow Creek. Today we are cleaning that wonderful RV that a friend from Indiana loaned to us for the last 2 months. Going out to eat with some other host friends.
Yesterday, while we were re-packing the little camper, another friend brought her mushing dogs (dogs that pull a dog sled) over so that we could see them. What a treat to see her pull up, and two dogs heads were sticking out the windows on each side of her car, and one in the shot-gun seat. I scrambled quickly to get the camera, but to no avail.
Here are China, Magie, Rosie & Spirit. We had some Yummy Chummies for them, so each was eager to get one!

Here is my favorite: Spirit. He's a HUGE doggie....and super friendly.

From the looks of Spirit....he sure loved the attention.

Since we had to take down our American flag from the host site, Chris put it on the back of the camper. Love it. Always wanted that, but never got to it.

Tomorrow we are off to Valdez. Have no clue as to when we will get internet again. We truly have been spoiled with the easy access here in Willow at the Burger Bus, the library and at the State Parks Maintenance yard. Now we have to use our ingenuity again to find WiFi.

So, until we "connect" again.
