July 13; GETTING READY FOR NEXT PHASE OF ALASKA x 2

We began yesterday to break down our tiny little campground home. The day was sunny and warm....good day to do this stuff. Since we used a lot of left-over wood from the State Park Maintenance yard....we had to take all of it back before we could put the camper on the truck. The "porch" lay on the bottom here...just loved that for getting into the camper. We had a front porch!

Camper back on truck. The day was sunny and dry, so we took down our bug hut, too....cuz you never can plan on the next day being sunny here.
Tommy doesn't waiste any time crashing when she gets in the back seat of the truck....she almost looks like a wrinkle dog here...

We have watched this log home being built this summer. This home was only a couple logs high when we got here. When they get it done, they disassemble it and ship it to wherever it is going. I think the corners are so unique from others I've seen. Oh well....I think it's cool.

Ya caught me flat on my back....Because of all the rain up here, (same as 2 years ago) a mildew started inside the camper. So, once again I had to clean it off before we start repacking it. And wouldn't ya know...it's raining .... but....this is Alaska!
Tomorrow we start transfering STUFF back to the camper.
So, until we "connect" again....
