FINALLY, WE'RE OFF ! ! ! ! ! NORTH TO ALASKA...AGAIN !

When it was raining last night, we decided to wait until this morning at 6 a.m. when it was not raining to put the camper down and hook up the boat. Then the rain was supposed to begin about 7 am. Isn't it nice when a plan comes together.... Chris hooked up the boat with the help of the back-up camera.... When we were ready, the rains came down. I went in and got ready to leave.

We headed to Granger for Madison's First Communion, and then on to Chicago to see the birthday boy, Charlie. Here is the ferocious 6 yr. old birthday boy Charlie.
Our Grand daughter, Madison, made her First Holy Communion today. Pictured with her are her God parents: Aunt Andrea and Uncle Mike. On the outside are her parents.

Tonight we spend the first night in the trusty little camper. Tomorrow we head north to Wisconsin. Hope the rain stops.....
