So, here I can use my time constructively....and do my blog in comfort....
A beautiful day on Sunday began with young Charolette being Baptized. She did very well, as mommy & daddy rehearsed with her at the kitchen sink. So, she knew what to expect. She told us she was going to be blessed again. Tommy's nose is working over-time most days at Twin Mills campground. The bunnies are chasing each other all over the place. That means that Tommy has her nose to the ground most of the time....WANTING to chase them.
I spotted this one out the front of the camper.
Then, as we were drinking our morning coffee...we spotted these two scooting down the road. Then they stopped across the road and were having a "stair-down". It continued on for 20 or so minutes. The one on the right jumped up and down several times while facing the other one. So, finally I went and got my camera....and they were still there. They stayed right there until I got into the car to drive away...and off they scooted. It was wierd.
As I walk around the campground right now, the honeysuckle bushes are in bloom! They don't look like much right now as the blossoms are just now comming out. But the aroma is totally awesome. Everywhere you go, the bushes are everywhere! so the aroma is throughout the entire campground. I remember sucking the honey out of the little buds when I was a little girl in Parma, OH. We had a bush at the side of our garage. Nice memories.
Don't know what this is....but it's pretty....
A close-up of the unknown plant.
Have been watching these little gozlings since they were little itty, bitty hatchlings. There are four little families here now. We go down to the pond and watch them. They waddle to the pond and sit out in the middle and just watch me right back....saying...."OK already....it's time for you to leave...."
As were were sitting at the camper last week, I looked toward the lake and it was just beautiful as the sun was low....quite bright over the lake.
So, there it is....another view from the campground. The jury is still out to see if we can stand staying in one place most of the summer. The "pro" is that Chris spent his entire birthday out on the lake fishing....and that's why were are at this particular place. He just has to walk down that little hill to the lake and his boat. The "con" is ....???? not sure yet.
So, until we "connect" again.....
