Twin Mills Camping Resort.... April 15

The day finally came for our very short 45 min. trek with our Four Winds to it's summering place. It was not raining when we got here....but rain held off until we got it set up and hooked up.

This is where the office, gathering room, store, etc. is. It's a big place.

We realized, with Yvonne's help, that we now live in a "gated community". Really it's a bit of a hastle. Always gotta make sure we have our "slide card" with us.

The rain sure was a reminder of Alaska. We raked the campsite. The camper was blocked and put leveling jacks under it, so that we don't bounce when we walk in it.

I'll take some more pictures of the back of the camper....the view we can see out our "living room" window.

The Four Winds is parked so that we get a good view of the lake through the windshield.

That was the reason that we picked this particular camp site. It was as close as we can get to the lake.

The docks are not in yet; a fact that has Chris not too happy. They had the drawing for the boat slips. Hopefully Chris likes the one he swapped for.

Bulletin: the docks got put in yesterday....looks good. We'll bring the boat when it gets a bit warmer. It was 32 degrees this morning. A bit nippy.

The weather has been less than optimal....but we're tough....we've been through Alaska. The lake has actually had white-caps on it. Brrrr. But we're cozy in the Four Winds.

We brought back the electronic, wireless containment system for Tommy, so she can wander the campsite....not working the greatest yet. She has to get use to it.

So, enough for now....until I can get out and get more pictures. Enjoy Easter and Praise to the Risen Christ.

Until we connect again....
