February 16; LAKE HOLLINGSWORTH

Today was the day to get car washed and oil changed. After the work was done, we took a wonderful drive around Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland. The swans were awesome to watch. The photo opportunities just kept comming. It was touching to see how they stuck to their mate. As I'm sure you know, swans mate for life. These two were so obviously mated. As they
swam in the lake, when one turned....the other turned. It was touching. Note how the white one has her (or his???) wings up drying.

Just one beautiful pose after the other. Loved every minute. How they enjoyed the nice warm day.

Drying wings....

Flying "somethings"....no idea what type of bird. The white bird in front right is a pelican.

What an wonderful relaxing day watching the huge swans....
Until we connect again....
