JULY 5: WILLOW ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL

Today we had nothing to do since most everybody is gone from the campground. So we decided to cruise around the metropolis of Willow and stopped at the arts and crafts festival. I've been seeing the sign each weekend this summer so it really hadn't interested me. Wow, was I wrong. This is about half of it. There's a food vender out back, and another one isn't showing to the right. Lots of real cool stuff. Spent waaaaaaay tooooooooo much time there, having a lot of fun.

Then we heard the whistle blow for the Alaska Railroad train speeding past with tourists on the way to Denali. Everybody stopped..................ran outside the fence...............and............

waved to the train and most everybody on the train waved back!

What fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
