JUNE 24; RON & ROSEANNE ARE IN TOK!

Last night we had our host friends, Loren and Suzanne over for a hallibut dinner. She made some banana boats on the fire. They were super; D had two! Then we went to the creek to watch the salmon jumping. It was fun. Dawson counted over 100 jumps just while we were sitting there watching. Trying to load a short video. It's going to load at the end of this post. ooops....didn't work Chris and Dawson finished up the last of the picnic tables that Chris has been rehabing. We have run out of boards. Some of the idiots that camp here use the picnic tables to cut their wood on. Duh....it's a table folks. Things are different here.

The friends we met 2 years ago on the banks of the Klutina River are on their way! They e-mailed me and were in Tok last night. Chris and Dawson just made a quick run to Wasilla to do a little shopping.....AND we're out of wine! Gotta have wine when Ron & Roseanne get here.

Will have more to write next time. Friday night at midnight the King Salmon week end opens and there is round the clock combat fishing for 72 hours. I hear it's super crazy. Will let you know after we experience. Chris won't be fishing. We'll just be watching the madness.
