HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011 ! ! !

Well....Santa and Mrs. Claus suits are packed away, and the New Year has sprung. We had snow here since Thanksgiving, but the rain and warm temperatures the last couple of days took care of that snow. The "We support our troops" flag was received as a gift from Dean and Stephanie. It's nice that it has the Coast Guard insignia on it. So, the guys ran it up the flag pole today. Look at that blue sky. How wonderful!
Unfortunately, and embarased at it, I just noticed that our flag is in tatters. We gotta take care of that! Not good. We had a couple of days in November that had horrendous winds.

And there she sits....our Four Winds....all covered up for the winter....right next to pretty red Lowe, covered in her green "shroud". They are both waiting for their day in the sun. Sure, the sun is out, but it's pretty nippy out there. With the price of gas going up, it's a good thing that we have plans to park the Four Winds on a lake near here and enjoy the relaxation this summer. A definite change of pace.
So, until we connect again....
